McAuliffe ascends to 'Paradise Lost'
"I'm # 4Inch thesp Callan McAuliffe is joining the cast of "Paradise Lost," Legendary Pictures' large-budget adaptation of John Milton's 17th-century poem that'll be directed by Alex Proyas. Bradley Cooper, Ben Master, Casey Affleck and Djimon Hounsou star within the heavenly epic, while "Rock of Age range" thesp Diego Boneta has been eyed for that role of Adam, the very first guy on the planet. McAuliffe will have Uriel, among the first seven archangels produced by God. When Lucifer (Cooper) rebels against God and Michael (Master) is known as commander of Heaven's military, the devoted soldier Uriel becomes his second in command. Vincent Newman is creating "Paradise Lost" via his Vincent Newman Entertainment banner, while Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will also be creating. Project, that will feature eye-popping aerial warfare that might be shot in three dimensional, will come under Legendary's overall agreement with Warner Bros. McAuliffe, repped by RGM, Affirmative Entertainment and attorney Patti Felker, is presently filming Baz Luhrmann's three dimensional adaptation of "The Truly Amazing Gatsby."
